The latest #NetworkOval meet took place at a stunning Kia Oval yesterday afternoon, with attendees enjoying lunch and networking, as well as hearing a humbling talk from Efrem Brynin.
Efrem's son, Lance Corporal James Brynin, sadly died in 2013 while carrying out intelligence work on the Taliban. Efrem said he wanted to feel something that his son would've felt, therefore, signed up for Channel 4 hit show 'SAS Who Dares Wins', where ex-Special Forces soldiers put recruits through a recreation of the SAS selection process. It was there that Efrem met Dan Cross, who he now runs the charity Strongmen with. Similarly to Efrem, Dan also wanted to challenge himself on the show due to tragic circumstances.

Strongmen is a non-profit organisation with aims and ambitions to tackle emotional and mental health issues brought about by the suffering from bereavement. Learn more about Strongmen HERE.
